Emily E. Prior (she/her) is the Founder and Executive Director for the Center for Positive Sexuality. As well as being a queer femme and many other roles, she has been teaching formal and informal classes about a variety of sexuality-related topics including Gender, Deviance, Relationships and Family, and Feminism for almost 30 years. Her work primarily focuses on the intersection of marginalized identities and social norms. She is an interdisciplinary social scientist and adjunct professor at several colleges and universities, has over three dozen publications, and presents at conferences around the U.S.

With an extensive background in Communications and pre-medical sciences from Boston University, Ciel is eager to contribute her skills and passion to further the Center for Positive Sexuality’s impact. She joined CPS as a volunteer in March of 2022, and has been deeply involved with the organization since January of 2023, passionate about fostering open dialogues and breaking down stigmas surrounding sexuality. She currently works as a medical scribe, collaborating closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and efficient patient documentation. This role has provided her with valuable insights into the healthcare system and the importance of compassionate patient care. As Board Secretary, Ciel is committed to working collaboratively with the Center’s leadership and fellow board members, contributing to the organization’s mission of cultivating healthier, more inclusive communities.

Adrian Colesberry is the author of How to Make Love to Adrian Colesberry, by Adrian Colesberry. He spent five years teaching sex ed for Planned Parenthood. He has a degree in biomedical engineering, an MBA, and has spent his career managing manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical industry. He never, with his apologies, has manufactured anything that could make your penis or vagina wetter, harder, bigger, tighter or or in any way more splendiferous.

Eric Chambers is currently adjunct professor of linguistics at the State University of New York at New Paltz.  His dissertation focused on language use among gay-identified members of an online erotic hypnosis messageboard.  He has been published in the Journal of Language and Sexuality, and in a forthcoming volume of digital orality.  He is currently working on two larger projects: a linguistic treatment of erotic hypnosis trances, and its intersections with larger ideologies and language patterns of clinical hypnosis; and a cross-linguistic typology of the emergence of nonbinary pronouns and strategies in traditionally-gendered languages. He is also a self-professed "advanced beginner" bookbinder.

Daniel Copulsky (he or they) holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. His research interests include asexuality, nonmonogamy, and neurodiversity, with a focus on identity labels and identity development. He teaches courses on Human Sexuality, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, and Research Methods.

Dr. Daniel Garrett is a Licensed Psychologist, currently working in private practice and inpatient community mental health. His clinical experience is focused on building genuine, supportive connections with his clients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals. He hopes to apply his varied life experiences with his passion for working with marginalized individuals struggling with mood disorders, trauma, life and identity related challenges, dual diagnosis, and members of the LGBTQ and kink and polyamorous/ethical non-monogamy communities. Daniel received his graduate training in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, and completed his post-doctoral training through Tarzana Treatment Centers in Tarzana, California.

Dr. Victoria Reuveni is a Los Angeles-based sexological bodyworker, sex educator, and Orgasmic Yoga facilitator working with individuals, couples, and groups to facilitate erotic embodiment through and self-acceptance through mindfulness, breath work, and touch. She sporadically blogs about sex, kink, gender, and body image and reviews sex toys. Victoria has been an educator with CPS since 2013, speaking on panels about kink/BDSM, nonmonogamy, and sex work, and a board member since 2016.

Dr. Elisabeth “Eli” Sheff is a researcher, expert witness, coach, speaker, and educational consultant. With a PhD in Sociology and certification as a Sexuality Educator from AASECT, Dr. Eli specializes in gender and sexual minority families, consensual non-monogamy, and kink/BDSM. Sheff is the foremost academic expert on polyamorous families with children, and her 25+ year Polyamorous Family Study is the only longitudinal study of poly families with children to date. Dr. Eli has served as faculty at seven universities and currently chairs the CNM Legal Issues Team for the American Psychological Association, Division 44 Committee on CNM. Sheff has published four books, over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters, and is currently editing a series of books on relationship and sexual diversity.

D J Williams is a board member, Journal of Positive Sexuality co-founder, and a social and behavioral scientist at Idaho State University. He completed doctoral and postdoctoral studies at the University of Alberta (Canada), and his scholarship intersects leisure science, forensic behavioral science, criminology, and sexology. D J is a leading international expert on deviance as leisure experience, and he has been a consultant and/or expert witness on several high-profile forensic cases involving sexuality and actual or potential violence. His research has been published in numerous academic books and journals, including Journal of Sexual Medicine, Homicide Studies, Deviant Behavior, Journal of Forensic Sciences, Leisure Sciences, and Critical Criminology.
