Kink: Describes a wide variety of sexual (or other) activities that someone finds pleasurable and enjoys incorporating during sex
Fetish: A wide variety of sexual (or other) activities that someone must incorporate into their sex life to access pleasure
*Kinks are considered optional for pleasure, Fetishes are requirements
There are no behaviors that are just kinks or just fetishes, what might be one person’s kink is another’s fetish, or vice versa. You also don’t need to have either to have an interesting, fulfilling sex life. These two terms are simply a reminder that the human experience is vast and everyone arrives at pleasure differently!
