Participants needed for research study on HIV and aging
The Oregon Health and Science University is seeking participants for a new NIH-funded study, called Project BRIDGE. To be eligible for Project BRIDGE, you must be 50 years of age or older, living with HIV, and currently be sexually active (or you were sexually active in the recent past). Participants who enroll into the project will be offered five telephone counseling sessions focusing on either (i) romantic and sexual relationships, or (ii) coping with life stressors. You will be assigned to one of these two conditions. There is a brief eligibility screener that you can complete either on-line or over the telephone to determine if you are eligible to participate. Participants can earn up to $200 for full participation. Specifically, you will receive $40 for completing each of five assessments, with each assessment consisting of a mailed or online survey along with a telephone interview over the course of the 12-month study.
