Less than 48 hours ago, the Canadian Social Work journal published Dr. Williams’ most recent article, “Social Work, BDSM and Vampires: Toward Understanding and Empowering People with Non-Traditional Identities“. This article demonstrates the need for clinician to treat all clients ethically and with respect, be empowering, promote social justice, and support them even if their identities or practices seem very different from the mainstream. This groundbreaking article helps to further the idea that people of all types deserve respect, and continues to promote the mission of the Center for Positive Sexuality of providing current, comprehensive, and sex positive information.
