The Center for Positive Sexuality is looking for a new volunteer Internship Director. Our current director, who created this fabulous and vibrant program several years ago, is now moving onto other projects. We hope to have this position filled before the fall semester begins, so please send in your application ASAP. Best case, you should plan on training during the summer and officially taking the position no later than September 1.

The Internship Director is responsible for overseeing the internship process for CPS. This includes: interviews, placement, representing CPS to schools, updating intern files, ensuring internships are being completed, awarding certificates of completion and/or sending notice of termination, maintaining and developing the program, and guiding interns and their supervisors through the program. The Director ensures that each department has capable interns and ensures that all internships follow legal guidelines regarding interns vs volunteer vs employee. Time commitment can range from 2-10 hours per week depending on time of year and amount of interns in the system. It is of the utmost importance that the Internship Director keep in touch with all other Heads of Departments.
