Hello. I am Emily Prior and I am the Executive Director for the Center for Positive Sexuality. It has long been my dream to have a source through which I could promote the positive, healthy aspects of sex and sexuality through open, honest, and accurate education and research.

This summer has gone by so quickly, and there have been many ups and downs for me personally as well as with the Center. I hope you are doing well and have many things to look forward to.
We are celebrating our 6th annual Positive Sexuality Day on August 31st and hope you will join us as we experience several presentations from our educators, researchers, and supporters. As always, registration is free however we hope you will contribute to this annual fundraiser and help us reach our $5000 goal. These funds help all of programs, including education, outreach, research, and interns.
It’s also that time of year to schedule your fall presentations. Please make your request as soon as possible.
The fall issue of the Journal of Positive Sexuality is in production and should be out by November. We take submissions year-round, so please consider submitting your original work. We’re also working on a special issue so check here for submission guidelines.
And our Positive Sexuality Conference (SexPosCon) is coming soon in 2026, and the call for proposals ends September 14, so get your ideas in for presentations. We’ll be posting about our amazing keynotes very soon!
