Hello, LGBT and elder-friendly individuals and organizations!
My name is Jackie, and I’m a University of Denver social work intern at the GLBT Center of Colorado. I’m writing on behalf of the Center’s SAGE (Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Elders) of the Rockies program, which will be hosting a regional conference on LGBT aging in October.
We are currently looking for presenters on a variety of topics, including health, financial and legal issues, and sexuality. I have attached a call for presenters, which goes into more detail and includes a form you can send back to us if you are interested in presenting.
If you aren’t interested but know somebody who might be, please pass the information on. If you are the head of an organization or academic department, please pass this on to your faculty/staff. If you want to be removed from this list, just let me know and I will take you off. Otherwise, let me know if you would like to receive more information about the conference as it becomes available.
