We had a great time, CSUN LGBTA! You did a wonderful job with your first conference. And, we may have scored an intern or two to help with the Center. Kudos!

We had our first show last night with guest Gram Ponante (www.gramponante.com) and it was fabulous! Certianly not without it's technical hitches... I forgot to turn on my mic at first, the camera guy forgot to reload the camera after the first hour, the board person accidently turned off the program for a second or two... but all that aside, it was a great experience.

Gram and Simone had me cracking up and I think the viewers really enjoyed what was going on. We had quite a few folks watching and many in the chatroom sending in questions.

Now I will spend some hours editing the tape so it can be posted to the 24 hour feed.

Lovely Simone! Thank you SO much for posting this. SexySpirits seems to have the right idea.

There are similar workshops available on this coast, however most take place in San Francisco.

Most people don't realize how conservative Los Angeles can be (see Prop 8 arguments for example.) Granted, LA is more open then some more rural areas, but hell, even Iowa allowed for gay marriage. Sheesh.

From what my sources tell me, this "epidemic" consisted of one person who contacted HIV through a personal encounter, not through her profession. All of her professional partners have been tested (negative, BTW) and will be tested again in the near future to make sure.

It bothers me that the porn industry often gets the brunt of the world's problems on its shoulders. It is not evil incarnate; it is a form of sexual, and sometimes artistic, expression.

I hope to get the director of AIM on the program in the near future. :)
